I had a spare hour this evening and wanted to make a video about the ‘Inspiration Tree’ in Austin Kleon’s ‘Steal Like an Artist’ (I don’t think he calls it an inspiration tree, that’s a name I’ve given it.) If you’re wondering why I got the Peanut 1985-86 collection, it’s because I was born in ’86.
I don’t have a lot of film equipment at my home at the moment, it’s all in the office and I had to record the sound on my iPhone, but y’know when creativity hits you just go with it. I filmed it with a Canon 750d (50mm lens, on auto-focus) and natural light.
It’s not my usual the style of video, but it was an enjoyable way to spend an hour. Let me know if you liked it.
